History and Personality:
Lea on the Kingdom Hearts Wiki
Also Axel on the Kingdom Hearts wiki, because he's part of Lea.
Lea has a tendency to act laid back and sarcastic, but in reality... well, he's still laid back and sarcastic. But he generally knows and understands a great deal more than what he lets on. He's not what you'd call academic by any means, but those who think he's unintelligent are quickly proven wrong.
He also has a tendency to try to act tough and confident, which relates to the sarcasm. Granted, this isn't all an act- he's a strong fighter and a powerful magic user-, but it belies his the soft marshmallow center underneath. Now that he's got his heart back, its warmth is obvious to those who know him. He cares deeply for his friends and will go to great lengths to help them.
Lea spent just over ten years as a Nobody in Organization XIII, where he existed- or rather didn't quite exist; Nobodies are weird- as essentially an empty shell of a being with no heart. No emotions, and no way to connect with others. At the time, he thought the only way he could be human again was to help complete Kingdom Hearts, though he later learned the truth; though Nobodies were born without hearts, they could develop new ones over time, and that Xemnas had lied to the Organization members to keep control of them.
And that very thing began happening to Axel over the course of several games. In Axel's first appearance in Chain of Memories he was as amoral and apathetic as the other Nobodies, immolating one of his fellow Organization members while they begged for mercy so he wouldn't reveal Roxas' existence to Sora and manipulating the Riku Replica into killing Zexion after Zexion found out too much about Axel and Siax's plans.
But Axel's encounter with Sora in that game also kickstarted the development of his new heart. The time he spent with his friends Roxas and Xion after returning from Castle Oblivion only furthering its slow development, though Axel didn't know it at the time. He could feel real friendship for Roxas and Xion and guilt for lying to them; he had and still has trouble lying to his friends, looking obviously uncomfortable while doing so, though thanks to his time as a Nobody, he retains the ability to convincingly fake emotions in most other situations. .
Though even then, his understanding of friendship was a flawed one as it was primarily focused on keeping both of them 'safely' in the Organization and thus with him, regardless of whether this was what either of them actually wanted or needed. It wasn't until much later that Axel realized his mistake and came to understand what friendship and caring really meant; putting the needs of others ahead of your own. This led Axel to sacrifice himself to save Sora and help him reach the World That Never Was to save Kairi. This was his last act as Axel and he thought it would be his last ever before he woke up in Radiant Garden, once again his human self, Lea.
One thing that signifies his change from Axel to Lea- and was a sign of the beginnings of his developing heart as Axel- is his loyalty. He's motivated greatly by his loyalty to his friends and his desire to keep his promises to them, even if he can't remember exactly where and when he made those promises. He's declared that he'll always be there to bring his friends back, after he promised as much to Xion as Axel in a fit of anger. (Which is why he can't remember it. Xion's existence was... complicated, and no one can consciously remember her, even her closest friends.)
His caring and loyalty can lead him to be brash and to make impulsive decisions, often to his detriment. He remembers all the awful things he did as Axel, and though he no longer claims the name, still feels responsible for them. He's trying to become a better person as Lea to help his friends and help save the world as a Keyblade wielder. It's at this point, from the very end of Dream Drop Distance, that he'll be brought to the Library, after he leaves Sora and Co. temporarily to go check on things in Radiant Garden.

Hey there, Librarians. Or Library... people. Whatever we are.
This is what you might call a public service announcement. See, there are creatures from my world called Heartless. The name's actually kind of a misnomer because a lot of them basically are what's left of people's hearts after they're consumed by Darkness. But anyway they're bad news. They operate on instinct, like wild animals, and that instinct draws them to the Darkness in people's hearts. They rip out people's hearts which are then consumed by Darkness and turn into more Heartless, which go on to attack more people, and so on. And since pretty much everybody has at least a little Darkness in their heart... yeah. Very bad.
Some of them look like solid black, living shadows, but other can have brighter colors. The more colorful ones'll have this symbol on them somewhere. [He holds up a drawing of the Heartless Emblem.] All of them will have blank, yellow eyes, though. And all them will attack mindlessly and keep attacking until they're all defeated or everyone in the area has had their hearts taken.
You can't talk to them or reason with them or anything like that; all you can do is fight them or run, so if you can't do the former, do the latter. And if you see any, let me know as soon as you can. My Keyblade is the only weapon here that can take them out permanently; others'll take them down temporarily, but the Heartless'll just reform somewhere else a little later.
And that's it. Hope this doesn't turn out to be necessary, but I wanted you to at least know what you were looking at and what to do if any showed up here. Later, Librarians.

Belongings: Black coat (see below for powers), black pants, black boots, black gloves, black undershirt, one Potion (see below for powers), a handful of Munny (enough for some snacks, but not much else; looks like blue and gold orbs in game, but for purposes of making sense will look like blue and gold coins), an ice cream stick with the word "WINNER" printed on it, his Keyblade (see below for powers), his chakrams (see below for powers)
Skills and Powers:
Fire Magic- Lea's specialty is fire magic, which is an obvious no-no in a place full of burnable things. So offensive-wise this will just be completely gone while in the Library, much to Lea's annoyance. He himself (and presumably all his clothes, at least while he's wearing them) are also immune to damage by fire, though, and in fact certain kinds of Fire-magic actually heal him; he'd likely retain these passive abilities.
Teleportation/Dark Corridors- Lea can use portals known as Dark Corridors to travel from one 'world' to another within minutes. This obviously wouldn't be workable in game at all, though he might try it once though a portal, so either we could just eliminate that working completely, or have it just work as a return function that brings him back to the Library from whatever world he's in; whichever way the mods want to work it is cool with me.
He can also teleport over short distances (ie; within the same building/general outside area) using Dark energy. This can't be used for inter-world travel and isn't really practical for anything other than a quick escape so I'll just leave it up to the mods whether or not this works in the Library or not.
Keyblade- A Keyblade can do lots of things but as Lea is just a beginner with his, he's only able to use its most basic functions. As a weapon, it functions pretty much as a normal sword would; it's only special quality in that respect is being the only type of weapon that can permanently take out a Heartless; other weapons can destroy a Heartless temporarily, but it'll just reform somewhere else a little later.
Its other basic function is being able to lock or unlock anything; in the video games, this extends to the portals to worlds and even people's hearts to a certain degree, but for simplicity's sake we'll confine it just to doors and similar barriers for RP purposes. This is accomplished simply by pointing the Keyblade at whatever the wielder wants to lock/unlock; a bright but harmless beam of light shoots out of the Keyblade and magically locks/unlocks the door.
That said, as with the chakrams I'll describe below, it's impossible to disarm someone of a Keyblade by mundane means. That is, if someone just grabbed the Keyblade away from him it would disappear from their hand and reappear in Lea's a few seconds later; he and it are connected. He doesn't physically carry it around though; as it's a magical weapon, he summons it when he needs it and dismisses it when he doesn't, so preventing him from summoning it would effectively disarm him of it. Also as said above, he's not the best with his Keyblade yet and may not be able to summon it reliably.
Chackrams- Lea's also armed with two large chakrams called the Eternal Flames. They have no obvious special powers, but given that he's able to pull off some physics-defying tricks with them, it's safe to say that they respond to his will as much as his hands.
As with the Keyblade, he doesn't physically carry them around, just summons/dismisses them at will, so mundane means of disarming won't work. Preventing him from summoning them would effectively disarm him, though. Unlike with the Keyblade, he's an expert with these and if not blocked from doing so, can summon them reliably.
Potion- A liquid medicine that heals light wounds/restores a small amount of physical energy for one person when consumed; good for one dose.
Black Coat- The Black Coat, uniform of Organization XII, offers some passive protection against Dark energy and makes it more difficult for the wearer to be magically tracked. Technological or more mundane tracking methods wouldn't be affected though.
